Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys The scheme was formulated by Ruspini in 1788 for establishment of a school for the daughters of deceased and distressed Freemasons. By 1798 this had been extended for the sons of Freemasons. The charities operated separately for nearly 60 years, each providing for the education of sons by sending them to the nearest school to where they resided. In the 1980's the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys were merged, and were given the overall aim of relieving poverty and advancing education for children of all ages.
By graciuos permission of Her Majesty the Queen the trust adopted the name "Royal Masonic Trust for Girls & Boys' 1st of May 2003. Added on: 26-Aug-2004 | hits: 456 Report broken link | Details
