The Worshipful Master Brother Wardens and Brethren of the Lodge of Academe No 9377 would like to extend to you a very warm welcome to their website.
Our Masonic Lodge meets regularly at the St Mary Magdalen Chapel, Guy's Cliffe, Warwick, England.
We are a Freemasons' Lodge operating under the English Constitution on the register of the United Grand Lodge of England. The Lodge was consecrated on the 14th of September 1990 in the Province of Warwickshire.
The following pages have been created to share with you some of our Lodge and historic location information.
The Lodge of Academe was formed to unite experienced Masons interested in extending their knowledge of the history and practices of Freemasonry both in the British Isles and other constitutions. Thus meetings are devoted to the study of papers, rather than the progression of candidates.
To enable brethren to support other Research Lodges we have now created a portal in the left hand menu to all Lodges active in presenting research papers. All of the Research Lodge meetings will also be found in the calendaring system.
Following the Lodge meeting the members and visitors of the Lodge of Academe always enjoy a formal dinner (or festive board) in the hall adjoining the Masonic temple.
We hope the site will be of great interest to Lodge members and visitors alike, and that it will inspire visitors to enquire further.
